Project Overview

Brighton College advances its reputation as one of the UK’s leading independent schools with a landmark Sports & Science Building designed by OMA. This four-storey facility will house 18 university-standard laboratories, a cinema-style global-link auditorium, a 25-metre competition swimming pool, double-height sports hall, strength and conditioning suite, dance studio and rooftop running track. Extensive basement areas accommodate pool plant and college fleet parking. The cutting-edge design creates inspirational environments that bring science and sport to life for pupils and staff while setting new benchmarks in sustainable educational architecture.

ABM Tiling brings proven large-scale education expertise to this prestigious Brighton project as appointed tiling contractor. Our scope covers high-performance porcelain, ceramic and natural stone finishes across laboratories, swimming pool surrounds, sports halls, changing facilities, circulation areas and feature walls. Working in direct partnership with leading European manufacturers including Porcelanosa, Marazzi and Mapei, we deliver technically demanding wet-area systems, anti-slip sports flooring and precision large-format installations that meet the highest durability and aesthetic standards expected by premium independent schools.
