Project Overview

Dulwich College commissions a landmark three-storey science facility that places cutting-edge laboratories and teaching spaces around a dramatic central gallery. Full-height glazing and an expansive glazed roof flood the interior with natural light, creating one of London’s most inspiring educational environments. The gallery showcases the famous James Caird lifeboat set within a sea of crushed glass – all resting on over 1,000 m² of precision-laid porcelain flooring. Delivered in phased works to maintain full site access for other trades, the project demands flawless execution on a compressed programme whilst achieving the exacting standards expected by Dulwich College and McLaren Construction.
