Taxi House delivers a landmark mixed-use regeneration on the Grand Union Canal, converting the former London Taxi Drivers’ Association site into a vibrant waterside destination. The development comprises 332 high-specification serviced accommodation rooms, ground-floor commercial and retail units, and a new state-of-the-art Westminster Cleansing Depot. Rising from three to twelve storeys and targeting BREEAM Outstanding certification, the scheme creates generous public realm along the canal, 15,000 sq ft of flexible workspace and community performance areas, plus resident amenities including a swimming pool, well-being centre, and private cinema. This forward-thinking project sets a new benchmark for sustainable urban living in West London.

ABM Tiling Limited proudly partners with McAleer & Rushe as appointed tiling contractor on this prestigious canal-side development. Drawing on decades of expertise across serviced accommodation, commercial, and amenity spaces, our specialist teams will install premium porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone finishes throughout all 332 rooms, public areas, swimming pool, well-being centre, and retail units. We collaborate exclusively with leading UK suppliers Domus Group, Solus Ceramics, and Johnson Tiles to source large-format slabs, anti-slip pool surrounds, and bespoke feature wall tiles that meet the exacting aesthetic and performance demands of a BREEAM Outstanding scheme. This appointment marks an exciting first collaboration with McAleer & Rushe and reinforces our position as the go-to tiling partner for landmark London projects.
